well im goin to do any ipad replacement or addon but i havent made my mine yet on what to do

i have the following

an knock off ipad dock that i took apart

ipad connecter to RCA with USB

ipad usb cig lighter that im goin to mod or get a female to 2 wires

im goin to used my 360.2 aux output

i stuck out on look for that dash part then my cable went out so i was bored so i painted some trim

well as my son takes a nap im goin to start glassing my pad im goin to do an two piece top & bottom

its all foil and taped up ready to glassed

Everything is coming along quite nicely. My only thoughts would be, like everyone else has said, to take a bit of time and really sand down them door builds. throw a few coasts on there until it gets nice and smooth, then cover it or paint it. Paint them red like everything else you got going on in the car. The other thing is....your "a" pillar volt gauge...that is direct from alt, correct? How did you wire it? Normally you can wire them straight to the ignition wire and ground and that will give you straight alt voltage as well. that is if thats what you did, if not do it that way. And, i would also put your stinger gauge somewhere else that is easily visible if you happen to be booming down the road, dont want to be looking up and not have some better eye sight on the road. If you can put it somewhere up at about steering wheel hieght it will look abut better.

well the doors might be getting a redo or upgrade i thinking of doing

3 set 6.5 comps or putting my stock door back in and mount the 8 in the stock location and fab in the 6.5 to rear door

the volt meter is wired to the battery as my stinger was i did a big three w\ 0ga

well ran into a snag, i got hell of noise coming out of the aux of the 360.2 im guessing cheap RCA and then i broke my dock connector so when i get a chance im goin to get an new one

well i think the big 3 was an big fail i only gained .7 volts maybe i shouldn't have fused it

what ddi you expect to see going from what high 13 volts to 15 volts lol... no.. generally at most u get 1 volt more.. and its always smarter to fuse all wires

my wife has a 05 g6 gt i have her stinger volt meter mounted in the little cubby hole in front of the shifter... looks ALOT better than hwere u have it.... super easy to install it there also... no cutting required and the trim panels r easy to remove also bc they r velcrod on

also dbelectrical.com has a 250 amp alternator for the g6 with the 3.5 for 250 bux..

they will powdercoat it any color u want for 50 more..

my wifes been running the 250 amp alt with a single xs 3400 poweering a audiopipe 1800 and 4 channel for over a year now and it never dips below 13.5 volt

even with ac full blast at idle
