First off this is all a 2004 Ford Expedition...Im running (1) Crossfire BMF-1700d running at 1 ohm, (1) Crossfire BMF-6004, (4) Crossfire BMF-1014 10" subs 4.12 cubes ported to around 38hz...under the hood I have a Kinetik 1800 battery, 200 amp alternator...4 ga wire running all the way from front battery fuse block to back fuse block(i know need to upgrade to 0 ga), volts at battery when playing is around 13.8-14.0 consitently, when I get back to rear volt meter its reading between 13.5-11.5 while playing music. Rear fuse keeps blowing when I turn it up. What is possibly the problem here ????? When I was running same equipment on 2 Crossfire BMF-1028 subs at 4.12 cubes, amp at 1 ohm never had one issue, now all of a sudden I change to 4 subs and im having problems. ALPINE408 Posted August 30, 2010 Report Posted August 30, 2010 11.5 volts your drawing a gang of current more than your fuse can handle a simple upgrade to 1/0 can fix that also you need more power to run 4 subs over 2 and you pull more current also blowing the fuse 1/0 and maybe a second batt and your good to go Have you ever had your woofers blown?
