  1. More than likely its a "Fusible Link". My Expediton has similar, Im leaving that wire in and just adding 0ga with a fuse on it. The power will take the path of least resistance.
  2. BK is not a bad thing, especially in todays economy, more than likely you will get to keep everything but your debt. I understand wanting a good credit score, but to be honest for what purpose ? Its just a number that has been put on you so they can give you more $$$. Make yourself rich not someone else. I filed BK a few years ago due to debt and illness and didnt lose anything but credit card debt, I kept my house and my cars, no more calls all day, and money in my pocket. Just my 2 cents.
  3. I remember that song, I was at the video shoot for it, all the vehicles used in the video was from a shop in Orange County called Audio Chamber they were the best back then. It brings back alot of memories of when I first got involved in car audio.

  7. What does the fusible link have to do with rca signal ? I will replace it, but I dont understand why that would be a issue.
  8. Amplifier is using the ground as the previous one. The stereo was NOT on when hooking up. I connected the ground before any other connections. Ill try the fusible link on the head unit, I have a spare. Thank you everyone.

  10. Well I broke down and bought a new 4 channel to replace my Crossfire VR-404(wanting more power) So I purchased a new Cossfire BMF 600.4. I took my VR out and did nothing but hook up wires and now have severe engine noise. Any explanations for this. Your help is greatly appreciated

Thank you for the help, I have 4-4in ports that are 10in long... roughly what i come up with is: 1 port = 27 hz 2 port = 38-39 hz I compete in USACi comps in: StreetBeat 1 Stock 0-600 Port SuperPort The last time i metered the truck with 2-10's behind the 3rd row (1-1000d amp) my peak frequency was around 40-41 hz. So what would be better using 1 or 2 ports ?

  15. I know the 1000d's are 1ohm stable and can be run at .5, not sure about the 2000d you might wanna call Crossfire to be safe...

  18. as far as i know dont you have to slant the back of the port to match the slant on the back of the box ? ive always done it. i was told the port had to stay in line the box to stay even ie: 7 in wide port has to be 7 in off the back wall, i could be wrong though please correct me if im wrong here
  19. in a suv the best setup is to have the subs up and the port back
  20. Dont need them here in AZ, as a matter of fact I have a personal plate for registration on back and another older personal plate from another one of my vehicles on front, in AZ you dont have to turn your plates in when you change them, they are yours forever
