Getting the most out of a 2 ohm amp?

My amp gives out 100 rms x 2 at 2ohms, will i need a DVC 2 ohm or 4 ohm sub to get the full 200 rms? I know its a noob question but you guys know a lot so...

Since its a 2 channel amp, a DVC 2 ohm sub. Wire one coil to each channel.

Thanks, and if i had a monoblock i would need two 4 ohm subs in order to give the amp a 2 ohm load right? Or two 2 ohm subs to give a 1 ohm load?

Isnt that bad? because if the bass were to fade to one channel each coil would basically be fighting over each other?

that is a good point but the sub outs on the deck should be mono. if your using the full range outputs then just split one rca at the amp. so it only has the left, or right, channel connected.
