merk_master Posted August 31, 2010 Report Posted August 31, 2010 Hey Guys/Gals , I have a Build in the works, Its 6 12" Hifonics woofers in a ported box Below Window Line in a 02 Focus Sedan. I need opinions of amplifiers and Electrical upgrades . I want to Run between 1200 and 1500 watts RMS total to the (6) WOOFERS . Highs will be powered by a Small Mtx Amplifier totaling 200 watts RMS . hopeful noob

lance_98main Posted August 31, 2010 Report Posted August 31, 2010 audipipe ap1800d thats what i would go with. it's a great amp and it doesn't cost a whole lot more than the 1500. and if you ever buy another one you can strap them for some good power. that way you can max them out. when i had mine i was running them with just about 400 watts rms apiece, and they sounded great, and i ran them on that for 7-8 months before i sold them. never had it metered which i kick myself in the ass for, but i would say they were in the mid 40's. just re read your first post. i'm recommending this amp on the assumption that your getting the hifi12d4's. is this assumption correct??? 2000 2dr blazer 15" diamond audio d3 4 cubic ft. tuned @ 32hz (slot port, sub back, port back) debating on a wall or no wall.
