Hi, just a little introduction. I am a big fan of the car audio world, and looking to be a part of a community that is the same way! I'm mostly interested in the bass section of it, so that's why I'm here. Just a little about my history with it. My first pay check ever was spent on a fusion Amp/12" sub bundle (I was so proud of it then!), and ever since, I have been slowly progressing further and louder. Second set of subs was some Orion Cobolts(sp?) as well as an 800 watt Orion mono amp to go with it, then went onto some I believe Alpine's.. But that still wasn't enough, and so here I am now. I decided on upping to the real stuff, so last Friday I ordered 2 12" Level 4 dual 1's, and just got them today, and installed into my car the first few minutes they arrived. I'll post some pictures of my car/sub setup later tonight when I get off work. I'm still a rookie, so don't make fun too much. :good:

Edit: Forgot to mention, no I won't be keeping that little Orion amp! I'm going to be upgrading that as well to probably a Audioque 2200d as soon as I get the money saved up to throw down on it, unless someone could suggest something else! B)

As promised, here is a photo of the car I am doing this to. I'll get another picture or two tomorrow to show some of the interior, etc etc.

So far, nothing crazy, no aftermarket alternator/battery/extra batteries etc. Although, with me upgrading soon to the new amp, would it be required to upgrade any of the previously listed parts?

What matt said. And thanks, I've ran into my first problem already :| the subs randomly turned off, I checked the fuse under my hood, and on the amp, none of them are blown. Tomorrow I have the day off so I am going to check to make sure none of the wires came unloose within the box itself, or the ground etc. Are there any other possibilities that this could be?

Voltage dropping too low for a second, amp going into protect then coming back on.

Hopefully that's all it is anyway, another battery should fix this problem.
