How big of an amp can I run on this electrical?

How much power do you think I could run safely with 2 Autocraft Gold Top batteries (800 cranking amps, 640 cold cranking amps, One under the hood one in the back), a stock 90 amp alternator, and the big 3 in 1/0 gauge done in the front. The car is a 2008 kia rio lx.

Batteries are probably along the lines of 20ah to 25ah per battery, so your looking at 130ah/140ah to play with. Look for something on here or caco on the cheap for some SLA AGM batteries, most are usually above 60ah and as high as 110ah or more so you just have to keep an eye out for some.

Most people use the 10 watts per ah of battery/alt method, so with 130ah to play with and your car needing 40ah that leaves ya with 90ah for a system so your looking at 900 watts while maintaining constant voltage.

AGM batts are what you want. aka NGT extreme, kinetik, xs power, etc.

Yuppers. just remember that your trying to match ah to power requirements of your gear whether it be many batteries with stock alt or a few batteries and an H/O alt.
