DynamikT
What tabs? I dont see no tabs. Are they on the other side? Most likely that old amp does not have a built in crossover, you'll have to buy a separate one.
Guest
i dont see any tabs...oh and fix that wiring a little bit. i see a straight exposed copper wire going to RF-. and i dont know why you are using the red 5v wires either...only wires you should be using for a PSU are green to adjacent black for turn on (on big 20 or 24 pin connector) and most if not all yellow wires with adjacent black wires for ground. 55437Audio
I'm not usi reds lol only the 2 yellow and 2 black from the power plugs. The red is taped off it's not done lol just through it together to get it working But your saying the green from the 24 pin would be better? Why? Aren't the yellows a true 12 v? And there isn't any exposed wires going to any where in the amp actually. The tab are in between the RCA and the speaker terminals those tabs are another form of inputs. they say high level inputs so i assume they arent crossovers..... Guest
Ok on the bottom there is a sticker about hp and lp but I can't find where it's referring too most likely your amp has a crossover card. its what RF used to use for their amps. its a little card with resistors on it that plugs into a slot on the board. you may or may not have said card. Playa Named Joe
Doesn't look like there is a crossover on there... Quote 1994 Pontiac Grand Prix build
