did u say u got 2 amps and ur planning on runing one woofer per amp and running at 1 ohm if so get the 2 ohm version and wire it to parralel like in this picture here to get the 1 ohm impeadence untitled8.jpg

when you order the subs you can choose the impeadence you want, dual 1 ohm or dual 2, then they build the subs and send it to you. so i was just gonna order the 1 ohm subs, wire it to 1 ohm inside the box?? yes no? lol im a rookie at thiss.. and YES, there will be a build log, planning on entering SOTM contest when i get enough money to get the system

yes they build it for you but the way impeadence works its kind of tricky so if u get one dual 1 ohm woofer u cant wire it to 1 ohm impeadence by it self http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp thats the link to the wiring diagrams mess with it so u can get a idea of how it works. I have a comment :)

I would sell the amp u have and buy another one, use atleast hifonics amps on those Xcons.

And if u're runnning over 3kwRMS i would upgrade the alt. ;)

yes i plan on upgrating the alt to a one with higher amp output. i dont know what is good for alts yet, but i dont wanna spend my whole wallet. and yes i have thought of hifonics. i also thought of 2 mono block RF amps.

so if you need an amp for power at 2 ohms, get audiopipe 30001d, or hifonics 2600 if you need power at 1 ohm. Those are the cheapest routes. I would have never used such shitty amps as the PAs on xcons. lol.
