I have two 15 inch kicker comp subs and an alpine mrp m500 amp. the kickers are rated at 50-250 rms each with a peak of 500 watts. Is my amp feeding them to the maximum wattage rms? ant the ninja Posted September 9, 2010 Report Share Posted September 9, 2010 That amp pushes 500wrms at 2ohms so run your subs at that and each one will see 250rms, Yes, that is the maximum amount of rms you will be safe with. Thanks I'm very interested to learn about car audio, currently im debating weather or not to build a ported enclosure for my subwoofers and what to tune it at. Any ideas or website that could help?
