I have an 01 Honda Accord and my rear deck shacks and rattles like crazy. Whats the best way to prevent that or at least help. It makes my system sound crappy and I can't stand it. So anything would be nice. Also, What kind of foam should I use to stop most rattling in the trunk lid and spoiler.

second skin on rear deck and trunk lid. no need for deadener on the spoiler since its attached to the trunk. no trunk rattles = no spoiler rattles.

seal rear deck from trunk will stop most of it

then you can wedge cardboard between window and the back deck and that will get ride of it more then likely

What's wrong with peel and seal and spray foam if you want to go the cheap. Not as clean way?

you'll get mixed reviews on Peel and Seal. Some say it's not as durable and you need several layers to compare to one layer of Second Skin. I would use it on my floor in a heart beat though since you don't have to worry about it sagging down and it really is cost efficient.

peal n seal works wonders if your on a budget. I'd go peal n seal, some spray foam, and be done with it. I had the same issue in my 94 accord, doesn't rattle at all now :drink40:

put some p&S on the trunk lid. spray foam up in the bottom side of the package tray to get rid of the sheet metal noise. and you might try to P&S the front side of the seat rest. (The metal that the rear seat lays against) that really should cover it unless you upgrade the whole system...

Ya or home depot. Peel and seel I think are lil rolls of kinda thick paper that is sticky made by protecto wrap if I'm correct.

How should I seal off my rear deck from the trunk? Just get a piece of wood, cut it to shape, and bolt it in?
