GioRF Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 I ran pos+ and neg- from my bass amp to my cap. Then pos+ and neg- from cap to rear battery posts and from the neg- post to chasis ground and a run of 2/0 welding cable from front battery pos+ post to rear batt pos+ post. Cables from amp to cap 2 feet long, from cap to batt 1foot long, from rear batt neg- post to chasis its 2 1/2 feet. Is it right that way? Do i have to change something? Any help will be apreciated. Thanks.

THEKINGsBACK Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 Is it ok to ground my amp directly to tha rear batt. or should i ground my amp directly to tha chassy? kinda hard to imagine all that in my mind... pics are worth a 1000 words.. but you need to ground the cap to the chassis of the car and the battery to the chassis of the car as well... in my opinion he wouldnt be the first to say they did a 167 with a system like that (one that clearly DOESNT), but i have to say, he didnt beat me anywhere, ive never competed against the guy. If he thinks his does a 167, mine would probably put him in a coma. :hairtrick:
