jojo42
I have a 99' Explorer sport and I already have 1 BTL 18" and I'm about to add another my question being, about how many sq inchs of port should I have? i was guessing around 13-15". Also does 12.5 cubes after displacement sound good too? Subs are going to be on around 1100w RMS each. 2012 Ford Ranger: Build comming soon! moto211
ok make the box as big as you can , bigger the better , try to make the port the same area as the cone of your driver , measure from when the surround stops , from one side to the other , then figure out the area , that will give you a good idea of how big your opening will be for your port, all you need to do is figure out the length , i have done this for a few boxes , and it works pretty good , CHECK OUT MY YOU TUBE PAGE http://www.youtube.com/user/motoxxx211?feature=mhee[/size]
