speedball1978
Ok guys, Here's my setup, its small but hell its loud. But yesterday as i was driving, i decided to check on my new big 3 upgrade i did 2 weeks ago. I noticed a big improvement. But downside is, my stock battery stays charged at 14.4 to 14.5 the whole entire time the system is on, meanwhile the second battery (shuriken bt80) is 13.2 to 13.4 when system is not playing but drops to 12.6 to 12.8v, the stock battery isn't dropping at all. Is there an explanation to why my second battery isn't seeing a higher voltage? before doing the big 3 my second batter would fluncuate between 12.8 to 14.2 meaning the charging system is working but when it dropped to 12.8 and i stop playing music, it would take 10 to 15 minutes for the battery to climb back up to 14.2, i know i have a less voltage drop with the big 3. Please help! System has 1 battery in back RF 1500.1-bd stock speakers 2 12's kickers CVX 4 ga thru out including big

7jezuz7
Is there a run for the positive and another negative to the second battery? If the second batt is grounded to metal in the back I'd recommend you do a run to the rear batt and in 1/0 EDIT: also if you're up for it here's a link to some IMO good wire! 50ft http://cgi.ebay.com/50-1-0-WELDING-CABLE-EXCELENE-RED-MADE-USA-/350315168341?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5190694255 25ft http://cgi.ebay.com/25-1-0-WELDING-CABLE-EXCELENE-RED-MADE-USA-/150438386541?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2306d39b6d depending on what you may need, but then you can probably also do the big three in 1/0 instead of 4 gauge. and if there's any left over you can sell it for other people's big 3 An Audio Technix 18" Strato on a Kicker KX120.2 My Youtube Bass Vids Updates When Possible...
