could it be bad RCA's? i unplugged the rca's and it stops. and plug them in and it starts again

When you unplugged your RCAs your HU quit sending signal to your amps which then send the signal to your subs. As said before try grounding your RCAs to the HU.

cuz i see a whole a whole bunch of stuff that says stuff about ground loop isolators
