mears707 Posted September 19, 2010 Report Posted September 19, 2010 Hey everyone. I have a project that I'm putting together. I plan on walling 4 9515-44's (vented) with 1 TE4001D in a 02 Durango. I will be upgrading the big 3, alt., and the under hood battery. 2/0 will supply the power to the batteries in the back. I was planning on using 2 kinetik KHC2000's but a local shop said that they have not had good experiences with kinetik's (they were crapping out after a year). They recommened 2 yellow top optimas instead. What do you guys think. I'm open for suggestions!

I'm going to look into the suggestions that everyone made. It seems though that xs is the way to go. Would xs under the hood be better then a red top optima?

I have melted a teriminal off the top of one of a yellow top. Have melted the side terminal off a red top. Have the red top never keep a charge. Id listen to everyone here, go with xs, they are the way to go when it comes to batteries. Go with a couple D3100's and another to fit for your starter batteries. Just throwing out my opinion.
