Best amp for a LVL 5 18?

o yeah i know. but i just didnt really know how much the sub could really take daily. not a saz2000 cuz the 1500cp does close to 2000 already. the box is tuned to 33hz and is about 5.5 after displacement

and the saz-2000 does over 2,000 already lol

I don't know why people always suggest running 5k to a 2k rms sub. Yes you can do it but you are not going to play your shit all day like I do. For a demo car or street beat car I could understand it but for daily....

i would suggest an Audioque 3500.1D or SAZ3500

BOTH are great amps and will power that sub flawlessly. anything less the sub will laugh at it. also i dont recommend the RF 2.5k...too much money and not enough power when you can get a TON more power w 2 amps or a much stronger single amp. you dont NEED 4-5k to make that sub do its thing...to run it at that level you need a GREAT electrical system.

a Visoniks Max 350 Watt 2 channel amp would do work on that sub.

I would say go with something 3k to 4k. I am running an ap3k on mine right now and it doesnt get stinky or anything and it does some damage.

i have 3 of them on 2 rd d9s strapped @ .66. i can make them heat up and smell in less than one song if I get down on it. i have over 6000 watts on each woofer and i cant bottom them out. ide say 4000 all day works.

the lvl 5 handles it if you got the electrical to support its 800amp draw

mine only gets warm when i clip the shit outta it ... and it still takes a minute
