I have a subaru outback, a hatchback, and am not sure if they should face back and the ports up or what and before i cut into my box i wanna know im doing it right. Any insight would be great!!!! skittlesRgood Posted September 21, 2010 Report Posted September 21, 2010 subs up, port back. or subs and port up. 1st option is usually the loudest but it could be different in any car. if you do sub up, port back. make sure to leave at LEAST 4" from port to hatch. i recommend at least 6". if you will only have 4" or less... i would do port up.
