does the Hifonics Brutus BXi 2610D do rated power?

does it do rated power? i mean i dont think it would do but 2200, has anyone clamped it and might know?

Im not sure about the 2610D. I had my 2010D clamped by a couple of audio friends and they used Fluke equipment and came up with it actually doing 2012 watts at 14.4V. But any lower would not do rated power. The 2610 I believe did do rated if 14.4 but, i don't know for sure tho

Yeah iirc they are about 300 watts off of their rating. But maxxsonics claims a true 2600 @ 14.4.

alright, i wanna put it on my BTL 18 until i get enough money for an AQ 3500.1

i know Crunch amps dont do rated power, but might be different with the Hifonics

ya dude i use to have a hifonics sub and i blew it out it was garbage couldnt handle my sony 1000 watts

you might have been clipping the amp ALOT. basically having the gain too high or having bassboost/LOUD up.
