fox_racin4
That's funny since it is IMPOSSIBLE to bottom out a SA, or any Sundown Audio sub for that matter. i wouldent say that buddy has a single 15 NS v.1 on 2 SAZ2500s and he can bottom his out Quote 1998 gmc extd cab 12 crossfire C710s 4 SAZ-4500s 3 Singer 400A altsbuncha mids/highs Team Asshole
sundownz
i wouldent say that buddy has a single 15 NS v.1 on 2 SAZ2500s and he can bottom his out He cannot bottom the coil against the back plate -- which is the standard definition of bottoming out. Would require 62.5mm one-way to bottom the coil -- which is impossible The "bottoming" your friend is hearing is the spider reaching limitation but there is no physical coil contact with the back plate. Trust you'll know backplate compared to what your hearing. Last time I heard some subs bottom out, I was like 20ft away from the car sounded like a damn gun shot. sundownz
The "wooshing" sound is air coming out of the frame vent holes.
