YoungBuck
So I'm planning on getting myself a DC lvl 3 and i listen to a lot of genres of music (rap and metal are the most I listen to.) And I was wondering if that sub would be able to sound well throughout my music collection? Thanks. Quote PM me for free Photoshop stuff SAMSQUANCH!!!! BeAlLsTaR13
Like box size and port tuning? everything is a factor, ive heard some ftw installs play all genres, then ive heard installs do good on only rap 1.5 cube per sub, tuning your prolly gonna either wanna go sealed or tune low for daily use unless your looking for numbers Quote Team Sundown Audio**CURRENT** -- 2012 Scion tC Build Click Here **OLD** -- 2002 Pontiac Grand AM Build Click Herecheck them out, slap me a comment2002 Pontiac Grand AM SE 2.2l 4 cylinder ecotec.-------------------------------------------------------------------Head Unit - Alpine CDA-9887Subs - 2x Z 12 v.2s - v.3 + NS Soft partsAmplifier - Sundown Audio SAZ-3500DEnclosure - 3.33 Cubes tuned to 34.66hzFront Stage - JBL P660c 6.5" ComponentsRear Deck - Powerbass 4xl 6.5" Mid-RangeFront Stage Amplifier - Sundown Audio SAX-100.4DWires - Kicker Hyperflex 1/0, KnuKonceptz 1/0, Knu 4 and 8 Gauge, Kicker RCAsElectrical - 275 AMP DC Power H/O Alternator, XS Power S3400, XS Power D2700Videos - http://www.youtube.com/user/BeAILsTaR13-------------------------------------------------------------------
J-Squared
I love mine sealed! 2 lvl 3 10's. May not be loud on the meter(maybe because i'm only running a SAE 1000D on them and because it's behind the seat in an s10), but they SOUND loud, the lows flex a lot, and they play very well on rap, death metal, classic rock, you name it. J-Squared
My step mom runs a ported box for 2 lvl 3 12's and they play metal VERY well... still to hear rap, but the box is made mostly for metal anyways, as that is pretty much all she listens to...
