how do i take computer power supply to power a car cdplayer?

on big 20/24 pin connector, chop off green and adjacent black wire. attach them together.

take yellow wire from same harness and adjacent black wire to corresponding + (yellow on psu) to + on headunit and same for ground. if you want to play music off of it, use more yellow wires from the longer 4 pin connectors with same adjacent black wires for ground so you always have the same amount of yellow and black wires.

This. That's pretty much how you do it quick and simple. I like to hide all of the wires so I do all the wire splicing inside the case. if you're still confused check this out, or google "computer power supply 12 volt"
