Ontop of all thease wires : ( had no problem with ) 2001 GMC Jimmy Car Radio Install Diagram Car Radio Battery Constant 12v+ Wire: Orange Car Radio Accessory Switched 12v+ Wire: Yellow Car Radio Ground Wire: Black Car Radio Illumination Wire: Gray Car Stereo Dimmer Wire: Brown Left Front Speaker Positive Wire (+): Tan Left Front Speaker Negative Wire (-): Gray Right Front Speaker Positive Wire (+): Light Green Right Front Speaker Negative Wire (-): Dark Green Left Rear Speaker Positive Wire (+): Brown Left Rear Speaker Negative Wire (-): Yellow Right Rear Speaker Positive Wire (+): Dark Blue Right Rear Speaker Negative Wire (-): Light Blue I have the following extras from the vehicle : Grey Black(speaker thin) dark blue purple with white stripe What role do thease wires play ? Is one of them going to be the accsessory ? Because there where no 2 yellow wires & after going yellow/brown for a speaker i have no yellow for acssessory. Id appreciate a more kind attitude, I announced off the bat i wasnt sure how to install decks, This is my first one. I do builds, But i never am bothered to do decks. This one is pretty hard im hearing so lay off man. I am doing my best, & we are all learning along.

Go online and order a harness, or wire everything myself and forget about the factory wires. Have you tried to print out a copy of the head units wire diagram? 2000 GMC Sonoma AQ20 FTMFW! 4 DC XL 15's Cadence ZRS-C9 Infiniti Kappa 3.5's and 6x8's Bravox 6.5 components

I got it all wired up there are only a few spare wires from the factory vehicle its self everything else from the harness i have in its spot. But I am missing an acsessory (non-constant) Lead from the vehicle. So i am wondering if it is one of the wires i have left over spare ? Read my above post again. It lists what i used, & what i have spare. The only thing i have on my H/U Left that needs to be plugged is the Acssessory (atleast on the audio side of things ) & the stupid parking break.

OkanaganDCaudio Posted September 30, 2010 Author Report Posted September 30, 2010 Found a blue wire that got snipped from the origonal harness, placing the unit back in it touched the power & all of a sudden the clarion came on, so i stripped that wire & vwolla. Only problem is my battery is dead in my car now Ill get vids tomarow !

ingramcaraudio Posted October 1, 2010 Report Posted October 1, 2010 To bypass your parking brake you need to run the purple parking brake wire from the back of the deck to a toggle switch along with a ground wire that way you can switch it on and off to play video without the parking brake. I am thinking somthing to do with the impendence as i wired them 100% correct.
