big dee
i would go with mdf. i think boxes built with mdf sound better than any type of ply woods no matter what kind of wood it is

Bumpin the TWP
yeah i like MDF too but by me the best price is like $37 for a 4'x9' sheet of 3/4 inch Quote 2x Sundown Audio SA-15's nuff said for my little old car 1999 Plymouth Breeze Build Log
kingsuv
Properly build box, and the difference in sound isn't noticed IMO. benefits to a birch box are lighter and stronger. Cons are the wood can be more of a pain in the ass to work with. And splinters suck Quote Designing, building, and shipping boxes. Yahoo IM - kingsuv00If the listening level is too loud, please inform the driver, so he can promptly pull over, and let you out. not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.
