mike25 Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 I have two kicker cvrs at 2 ohm on a kicker zx 1000.1. For the first 5 days after install, they played great but then they dropped in power and loudness. It seemed to kind of cut in and out and then stay out. They still play, but sound about 300 watts down in power. I had the amp tuned to about max before clipping with an o-scope. I've checked all wire connections in trunk including taking subs out and testing each voice coil. The only connection i haven't checked is the pre-out at the deck. Any suggestions help. Thanks

mike25 Posted October 5, 2010 Author Report Posted October 5, 2010 So i just checked the grounds and everything looked fine. Could something have blown inside the amp? Or would that cause it to go into protect mode? Yeah, check the grounds
