dugee81 Posted October 7, 2010 Report Posted October 7, 2010 it all depends on what your voltage is @ full tilt. adding another run reduces resistance betweens batteries and the alt, and adding another battery in the rear will add more reserve. what is your voltage like? 200a alt. by Excessive Amperage hc800 under hood & 2 Deka 9a31 in rear 1/0awg + big 3 SAZ 3000D HDC3 18" @ 2 ohm

dugee81 Posted October 7, 2010 Report Posted October 7, 2010 yea, but again the amp is running at 2ohms though.. going from 2 ohm to 0.6, you might want to add another battery because of all the extra current that will be pulled. only way to know for sure is to do tests! can you wire it down this way right now?
