REaudioBuff
I have no clue about this kind of thing... I need something to help me out with the weight problem. My rear is sagging about 2'' more than the front because of the extra 600-700lbs in the back. Is there anyway i can fix this? Or whats the best way to fix this... I'd like it to cost no more than 300$ Quote 1 Crossfire XS v2 15" 2 Deka group31a's 1 XS Power D3400 (under hood) 1 Addictive Audio 500.1 1 Rockford 3sixty.2 4 Crescendo pwx 6.5s 2 Pyle Pro Super tweets 1 Crescendo 1000c4 Kenwood excelon x494 Head unit Big Three upgrade All 0 gauge of course 1 4.56c^ft box @28hz (New Best official db score= 151.2 @ 36hz)
hdorre
You could get helper bags or new rear springs (IIRC, they're called sports suspension kits) Quote On 5/8/2011 at 7:38 PM, Kranny said: On 5/8/2011 at 7:35 PM, 'Maxim' said: It hurts me inside when I read stuff like this and remember you're 15 LMFAO so true Mitsubishi 3000GT (Old Build) Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: (2) McLaren Audio MLT-2 Tweeters & (4) PRV Audio MR Series Neo 6.5" Mids Substage: 4 15" Hybrid Subs - Tantric Motors & Sundown Softies Amps: Banda 2.4D Amp (Tweets), American Bass VFL 350.4 (Mids), and (2) Ampere 3800s Electrical :Singer 260A Alt & JY Power Lithium 2005 Chevy Colorado Ext Cab Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: 4 PRV 700Ti Tweets & 6 10" Delta Mids on 3000wrms Substage: 6 Fi BTL 18s in a 4th Order Walkthrough on 3 Wolfram 4500s Electrical: Singer "390" and JY Power My Official Feedback Thread
REaudioBuff
well if i get new rear springs how do i know if they will be stiff enough to keep the car at a safe level. Ill also lower the front to match the rear but I'm just wondering about the rear having the weight on the springs. hdorre
I'm not completely sure about knowing how stiff. I believe some manufacturers have weight ratings. Hopefully someone will chime in Quote On 5/8/2011 at 7:38 PM, Kranny said: On 5/8/2011 at 7:35 PM, 'Maxim' said: It hurts me inside when I read stuff like this and remember you're 15 LMFAO so true Mitsubishi 3000GT (Old Build) Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: (2) McLaren Audio MLT-2 Tweeters & (4) PRV Audio MR Series Neo 6.5" Mids Substage: 4 15" Hybrid Subs - Tantric Motors & Sundown Softies Amps: Banda 2.4D Amp (Tweets), American Bass VFL 350.4 (Mids), and (2) Ampere 3800s Electrical :Singer 260A Alt & JY Power Lithium 2005 Chevy Colorado Ext Cab Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: 4 PRV 700Ti Tweets & 6 10" Delta Mids on 3000wrms Substage: 6 Fi BTL 18s in a 4th Order Walkthrough on 3 Wolfram 4500s Electrical: Singer "390" and JY Power My Official Feedback Thread
craracer05
Well being as I have Tc I'm facing the same problem my rear end is about 1-2" lower aswell and I'm currently running hotchkis springs. I've been looking into it but your best bet is to run like a 2" drop spring in the front and trd spring in the rear because they have the smallest drop at about .5-1". scubwoofer
The cheapest solution would be to install front drop springs while leaving the back springs alone.
m_montero2003
or you guys can get coilover, that way you can raise and lower the car how ever you want. Look for some megan coilover EZ they are the cheapest one around with dampening factor.
