Awhitewookie
Hey guys, I have an 81' Camaro with a 5.7 350 in it right now. I am wanting to eventually drop a supercharged 383 stroker in. I'm pretty sure I have a turbo 350 tranny in(Just bought it) and I know there is a shift kit. The tranny is a brand new rebuild with about 100 miles. Would I need a new tranny and rear end? Also, would all my accessories from the 5.7 350 transfer to the 383, or would I need to do all that over? Thanks alot Quote MY BUILD 1998 Ford Explorer 2dr sport 1/0 Big 3 1/0 everything Alpine cda-9884 Crescendo CZ components (2) Crescendo bc2000's (2) Jolt 150ah (2) Yellow top optimas (1) Juicebox black cherry addition (1) Mechman 270 avbm miss my bc5500 and (4) 15's You know why people are ass holes online but not in person? Nova
NastyZ28.com /thread As for the rear end, weld the axle tubes to the housing, get some forged axle shafts and a forged pinion yolk. That'll be good for about 800 horse. I currently have an '81 Z/28. It's for sale to! Edited October 11, 2010 by Nova Quote stop making sense you'll kill the argument. Earth, you feel me? You aren't loud enough to be felt.
