Carroot1 Posted October 11, 2010 Report Posted October 11, 2010 Hello everyone, I'm looking for some input on the Hifonics 2500D. From what I have heard it actually puts out 2500 watts RMS. If you own this amp will you clarify that it does do rated? Beside the overall look of this amp it is great for the price. Just looking for a future upgrade amp without breaking my bank Thanks!

fecupe2001 Posted October 11, 2010 Report Posted October 11, 2010 You talking about the hfi 2500D??? don´t buy that piece of junk!!!! i had one for a couple of months and it was weak as hell, i bought it because hifonics dealer told me that it was the same brutus 2610D amplifier but without the linking option, i thought ok no problem there because i have a maxxlink and can strap two of them on the future, no way man, that thing didn´t sound any close to my old brutus, sold it and bought an used bxi2610D and i´m way happier.
