cmamtower Posted October 13, 2010 Report Share Posted October 13, 2010 no i believe he said it was a 4 cyclinder and my brother owns his own garage and can do an engine swap in like 3 hours flat hes a monster when it come to engine swaps b16's and b18's are 4 cylinders... b16a2's came out of 1999 and 2000 civic si's and b18's came out of integra's usually. most likely the motor in the car is a d17a2 which is pretty close as the same motor in the older 96-00 civics. other than the fact of .1 liters of displacement they have close to the same hp and torque. which is 127 hp and around 110 ft/lbs of torque.
