JEMT8 Posted October 12, 2010 Report Share Posted October 12, 2010 This is semi relevant, But I work in the photo department at Walgreens and we have something called a Silver Recovery Unit (SRU) that is connected to our film processing machine. Believe it or not, Film has silver in it and when it's processed the machine extracts the silver and few other things and sends it to the SRU and it fills up a tank and when it gets full, they send us a new one and we send the full tank to a processing/recycling facility.
