alweezy Posted October 13, 2010 Report Posted October 13, 2010 i have a planet audio 1601 d that wont power down. i sent it back to planet audio and they said they didnt find anything wrong with it. i got it back and as soon as i put the power and ground on it it powers up. the car is not on my capacitor is not on and neither is my interior amp. what could it be i hooked it up in my uncle truck and it did the same thing.

big dee Posted October 13, 2010 Report Posted October 13, 2010 it sounds like the remote has fussed with the power input. got it hot and fused the two. you can tell for sure by unhooking the remote wire from amp if it stays on ,thats it or you got a wire touching the power causeng it to stay on.
