4x10, Midbass Or Woofer?

my friend has a 1988 fiero gt and im going to try to help him do the audio in it since his stock audio kinda crumpled from 20 years of aging. anyway we put in a new headunit and he hasnt decided which way he wants to go. he stock speakers are 2 10ohm 4x10s in the dash and 2 4ohm 4x6s in the rear pillars (wierd shit i know) so he was wondering if he should get like eclipse 4x10s or make a 4x10 to 4in adapter plate and get a 4in midbass or should he get a 4in woofer. all of this will be playing off the headunit so i dont think a subwoofer would sound good at all off the headunit amp cause he wanted to do 2 5.25in tang bands cause he really likes the one in my room but that would sound like ass on that hu so i was thinking maybe 2 tang band woofers would sound better.

so what should he do? get a decent pair of 4x10s, midbass or woofers.

Personally I'd do the 4inch woofer, 4x10's are oddball. But they are found in the dashes of older dodges, I just replaced my door speakers in the dodge I had and said fuk the 4x10 because it was like $80, and i only needed one not two lol

yeah i think instead of that tang band woofer im going to suggest this one

itll be easier to fit into the dash and its 30watts rms at 4ohm so itll play easily off the headunit
