The speakers produce sound, in which you want in your cabin. If you seal it off from your cabin, you will get nothing but trunk rattle. No bass, no music. ALL of the sound pressure is in the trunk. And you want subs firing forward so when you fold down the seats you see speaker and most likely port through the rear deck. But for that amp I would do XLs instead. But 10s would also be neat because not everyone has done 10s and in a mustang it will be loud.
