JakeNath Posted October 17, 2010 Report Posted October 17, 2010 Okay so I have the Alpine Mrp-M1000 series amp and I have a couple of questions for a setup. By 4ohms my amp puts out 600watts. Im running 1 12" w3 and im waaaaay overpowering it. If i add another w3 would it give each sub 300 watts? Or does it give each sub 600 watts each? Any comments are appreciated! Thanks

TeamHT Posted October 17, 2010 Report Posted October 17, 2010 Lol. i thought they only came in SVC 2, 4, or 8 ohm. If both subs are wired for a final 4ohm load and the amp puts out 600 watts at 4ohms, then each sub will see 300 watts. Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
