organshifter Posted October 17, 2010 Author Report Posted October 17, 2010 i dont think they will and if they did it would be dirty as hell clip city i just had the kole trax 5500d and it was weak an no were close to rated power and i have upgraded elec with 2 power cells Damn. I would have at least thought that PA 5500D's could do 2400RMS @ the right voltage. I have three of these: Boss Outcast L12 (Sonic page) | Actual Product Page what subs are you using. and i use to build shit the cheap way and it works and sounds ok but it just dont last you get what you pay for, i have a cheap system in my work van and i go trew sub or two a month so realy its just wasting my money but its still fun to beat them to hell and back tho but i have fun with it and dont worry about blowing shit cause my subs are so cheap . but they hammer hard as hell. so its realy up to you but im done with cheap subs and amps. i was hard headed and would not listen to peps giving me advise. and belive me i dont have a pocket full of cash to blow ether. but your better off buying one thing at a time and then you will have something better in the long run. My shit is cheap too. These subs hit hard as hell, but I don't have a decent enough amp the push them properly. I feel you though. I was just trying to get something real quick, before the fam hits me up. Lol.
big dee Posted October 17, 2010 Report Posted October 17, 2010 go with the audioque 1200 and it will push the crap out of them . way better than kole or poweracustic and its only 250 shiped. i realy dont think those subs would handle the 2200d so i say 1200 aq

Output Power 14.4V @ 1% THD 510X1 @ 4 ohm 870X1 @ 2 ohm 1200X1 @ 1 ohm Output Power 14.4V @ 5% THD 1470X1 @ 1 ohm I'm going to run my three subs in a series/parallel at 2.67 ohms. Seems like I'll be receiving less than 290W per sub (870W @ 2 ohm / 3). how does those subs sound they look beefy They hit hard Dee. Real talk man. And I only have 2 of them in a sealed enclosure right now with 1.2 Cu Ft airspace each. I can't run all three on the measly amp I'm using.
organshifter Posted October 17, 2010 Author Report Posted October 17, 2010 Does anyone have additional suggestions? I'm going to do the big 3 this week, possibly purchasing an HO alternator. I'm sure that batteries are much better than capcells, but how do I sustain 16v on a 12v battery? Do I need to incorporate both, or will the amp pull all it needs from the second battery? Anybody have any experience with any of the amps I listed? I know they're not the best, but I need more opinions. PA most likely sells more amps than all the other companies put together, so can someone who's running one now share their experience?
