seal off a box!!!

whats the best way to seal a box from the trunk.............. i know i should use expanding foam, but how should i go about doing this

some people use gorilla tape, but i read someone using aluminum tape so now im curious lol. some also glass the box in to seal it. i guess its more or less how settled you are with your box and setup and how much work youre willing to do. ive seen all three work well though
