CJL
Anybody ever heard these subs? Are they good drivers?
Forevrbumpn
They are great subs, Ive only heard one for music, with a Zapco amp when they first came out. Did a 3cf tuned to 40hz, sounded great in a hatch back. Lacked some low end but very strong @that 40hz I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.

Forevrbumpn
for one , its a spl sub only, it is NOT meant to play lows loud. 2nd in car response, (Transfer function) will alloy a speaker tuned at 40 hz, still play pretty powerful down to about 20hz. If tuned at 30hz, maybe the lows would be a little stronger, but that speaker has a very stiff suspension, and its natural Fs is high, meaning it wants to play high, 40-60hz. But I was saying even At 40hz, it sounded damn good in sq, and over all output I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes.
