chapo123 Posted October 21, 2010 Report Posted October 21, 2010 okay well i have a 2002 chrysler sebring. 4 door sedan. and i was looking around to see any good place to mount my new tweeters i just ordered.. these. http://www.crutchfield.com/S-SXltt8gLbzL/p_136ZR100CT/JL-Audio-ZR100-CT.html dont worry i didnt pay that much for them LOL and i looked on the dash i saw some grill looking things.. and turns out my car has 2 3.5in speakers in the dash saw on crutchfield WTF? lol but the weird thing is i got a flash light and tried to look thru the grill and its just like a plastic cover. you cant see the speaker. ill run the tweeters off the hu but im wondering is how am i going to take out these 3.5in ones? if there even are any.? kinda pointless for them to put speakers there just to cover them. ive never worked on anything in the dash like this so anytips on how to take them out? and to mount my new ones?
