Hotdog Posted October 23, 2010 Author Report Posted October 23, 2010 (edited) Well you have to activate an account and purchase a minimum bid package which gives you 100 bids for $60.00. The auction I have seen range from 1 cent auction up to 10 cent auctions. The 1 cent auctions go up 1 cent every bid and the rest follow the same. Basically you pay 60.00 for 100 bids which is .60 cents per bid you place but you have to bid smart or you will end up using all your bids with nothing to show for. Best way to go about it is to watch the auction for a while and come in at a later point, check to see how many people are actually placing bids on that item. If there is a lot of people don't bother until it drops down to a couple bidders then jump in on it. How the site is able to sell stuff so cheap , Ill break it down for you. Lets say there is a penny auction on an Apple Ipad and the winning bidder get's it for $40.00 + plus shipping out the door. 40.00 / .01 = 4000 bids 4000 bids at .60 cents per bid = $2400.00 (so Quibids definitely made there money to cover the cost of a 40.00 dollar Ipad) You can score a good deal if you play it smart... use your head My son won 3 items on there and made out like a bandit.
