I see a melted battery... burned cables... and a trashed car.

But i can't find any fuse (holder) in your pictures???

I think i know the reason why you burned your car!

Do you have pics of your cables (under the hood) before the fire?

agreed - i feel a fuse in line with that power wire running from the alt to the batt mightve prevented this

The fuse holder may have melted. All the other plastic is history.

But you would see where the fuse block was at with the wire it would have just melted away leaving 2 unconnected wires.

As the picture shows all the wire is 1 line.
