My friend just bought a sundown 3k and dont want to use it till he gets enough amperage, he said an EA alt would only go to 250amps. Is there anyone who can build one higher than that? He wants to do this once and get the most amps to his electrical as possible. Please let me know ! thanks...

I would do one of our 14 volt 270 amp ES units. It is $475 shipped, and comes with external voltage control built in. Put an XS power D1400 14 volt battery in the stock location, and you will be able to slam on 3000 watts all day long and stay in the 15 volt range. The D1400 batts are $249 shipped right now. You would probably pick up another couple hundred watts out of the increased voltage
