Cdizzle
If you are talking about the screws coming out, then why not dab some clear fingernail polish on the threads and screw it back in? It holds it tight, but not tight enough to never get out again... Quote Damn Thiefs
Quin
yeah i could try that too,, then again when the bass hits, things tend to get quite demented, so i dunno,, but am liking Chris's idea, iv just tried it n the bass sounds so much better without the rearview violently rattlin away
Audiobahnaholic
So your saying the metal hanger is still on the glass the mirror screw is backing out and it's falling off? The past 3 times mine has came off it rips the metal hanger off the glass so you have to glue it back or leave it dangling by the wires for the map lights haha. The ladies don't dig it when you turn and it smacks them in the head. Pics??? 01xtreme
In my old blazer my rear-view was wired in cause of map lights. when that fucker fell off it hit my ass right in the face.I wasn't too happy, so I I ripped that fucker out and threw it out the window doing like 70. luckily this one isn't wired, so it will just fall. It holds it tight, but not tight enough to never get out again... thats why they make threadlocker. use the blue one so that you can take it off need be. btw, i had 2 hx2 10's in 2 slot port boxes off an mtx 801d, and the button pulled a chunk of the windshield out in my buddies s-10. yes, a chunk came out of the windshield. Audiobahnaholic
Mine was wired until one day about 2hrs from home it fell off and flopped. I whipped out my pocket knife and cut the wires, then when home I covered them in electric tape and tucked them under the headliner. Ghetto yes, flopping no. So my map lights don't work.
