Clean power, done right,,,,,what does that mean? It means, don't put a shit ton of bass boost on it, have the filters on the amp set right and DONT set the gain WRONG. That is how you do it right, plus many other things as well....LOL

just go to cruthfield and look for wiring diagrams.. you can tell if you are pushing to much power though.,. it will distort too

Will do, did not know crutchfield would show me diagrams if I did not purchase stuff from them.

What is the max you would push through these?

http://www.amazon.com/Rockford-Fosgate-R152-S-5-25-Inch-Component/dp/B002X786XQ

I was thinking that a 50 rms amp should do well with these, so that I can avoid asking these "what is the max this takes" questions in the future, how do you determine what a safe to push through a speaker?

Thanks,

Nate

One word.....

......Experience!!!

That is what tells how much you can run, trying it out and seeing if it will handle it or not.

Hehe, I figured that would be it. I have very limited funds, being in college full time and job part time, so I think I will keep it safe for now and stay at 50 or under, the bit that my HU is putting out does not seem to be giving the speakers what they want.

Thanks guys, you have been very helpful so far and when I get my sub box built and amps wired up I will post up some pictures :D
