My first question is whether or not I need to buy a new battery/alternator etc. Secondly, at night I have realized that every time a high bass note puches, my headlights flicker. My friend said this could be solved by buying HID headlights because they are wired directly to the battery, but what should I do from here?

My friend said this could be solved by buying HID headlights because they are wired directly to the battery, but what should I do from here? big 3, but i know i got ninja'd already on it. as far as hid's, they are a great investment regardless (in my opinion). and yes they dont dim whatsoever when the voltage drops. i have the ability to start my car with the lights on and they dont even flicker. they dont not dim because they are hooked up to the battery. its something to do internally with the ballast. probably because it takes 9-16vdc from the car and increases it to like ten thousand volts or something like that.

Alright sweet man. Do you think I should just upgrade to HID's instead of messing with the whole Big III thing? It would be a ton easier on me and my headlights flickering is the only problem I have because of the bass.

Also, be sure to use the same size power and grounds as you have runnning to your amps (or bigger) Blown
