bumonskateboard6
I'm loving that voltage Oh you have no idea how nice it is DC Power makes an awesome alternator! Looks great man. Thanks! you could use the pully if you got a smaller belt Yeah I was looking into that, only problem is it was enough of a challenge for me to get the alternator installed and take the tension off with the honda/acrua auto tensioner system, I wouldn't even know where to begin for different belt sizes, and for now it seems to be working fine, if I upgrade in time I'm sure I'll do some more research on replacing the belt. bumonskateboard6
Well I'm done with school for the semester and thought I'd bump this again, I'd like to change the pulley to be the DC Power pulley instead of the stock Acura pulley because when I turn on the AC/Headlights it does drop voltage a little. Stock Acura Belt is a 46" belt Stock Acura Pulley is roughly 3 inches DC Pulley is roughly an 1 3/4" How much smaller of a belt will I need? I was thinking of going with a 44" or 43" but am not sure. Any help would be appreciated, thanks! Guest DC Power Rob
I can send you a larger pulley, I dont recall the stock one being that big. I have those in either 2.00", 2.25", and 2.44", all black ano/engraved. If your stock is pushing 3", I'd run either the 2.00 or the 2.25. If you can get a belt on the 1.8" though, it wont hurt anything, just give you more idle output. If you want to call Kyle tomorrow (I'll be out picking up parts), he can help you out with a belt as well. Rob
