I don't know if that's the right name, but I'm reffering to the double sided 3.5mm headphone jack... My headunit has the ability to use this, but what I'm worried about is clipping, and setting the volume on the phone/mp3 player I use.

i hate those stupid things. Id think the only way to tell is to actually meter the output out. If you leave the ipod EQ flat or whatever you are using i dont anticipate it to be a big deal.

What is a double sided 3.5mm headphone jack?

What head unit?

Got pics?

I would never turn the volume on anything to the max.

Maybe 3-4 before max....as long as you dont hear distortion, your good to go.

i suck men dry...email me for details

I think on my Headunit it has a +3db gain on the auxiliary input. So i just counteract it by not turning the radio up as much.
