Cheap way to fix trunk rattle - 3 Bucks

Recommended Posts

So you just put it around the perimeter? Blurry pics are blurry

just around the perimeter where the water seal is and it should stop almost all of the rattle. song was played at 22 volume both times around the same part.

hmm its only 3 bucks? hard to apply? shoulda made a vid applying it >:[

Steve I don't know why but everytime I see your new paint I want a Dr. Pepper...... is this normal?

heres an analogy for you. running a high power stereo without a fuse is like having unprotected sex with that hot chick at the bar with the sketchy sexual history. Sure you may be fine and nothing happens but that one time something does happen you're fucked.

i dont want woofer broke like bass sound clip clip and voice coil overheat

hella easy to apply and remove but wont come off unless you take it off. I just wiped the trunk down with alcohol to make it nice and clean. I highly suggest this since its so cheap and works great. didnt have anyone to film me lol

It goes on just like tape. All you're doing is making a tighter seal for the trunk. It is a good idea and should last but over time will get weaker just like your stock weather seal on your trunk. That's why say you put a stereo in a car that's never had one with no dampening over time you will actualy hear as the seal gets weaker and lets the trunk move up and down more.
