Crimpers for 2/0 are expensive. And off topic but I don't want to start another topic... I've herd of people running the power wires from alt to batteries in back and from there + battery in front to + in back. Which is more efficient and or safer? Thanks! Austin soldering X gauge into X gauge terminal is the same i would assume. just feed solder through and thats it. as for the off topic question, the way you specified seems really inefficient. just have alt + go to FRONT battery +, then from front battery + to rear battery +
CaptainzPlanetz Posted October 31, 2010 Report Posted October 31, 2010 IMO Hydraulic Crimping is just as good as Soldering.....you can get a good pair of these kinds of crimpers from Harbor Freight for about 60 bucks.... Its kinda a preference some like soldering some crimping.....but if you do crimping IMO Hydraulic is the only way to go ¿ǝɯɐƃ ǝɥʇ Trolls never learn............ And kranny it's a diesel so I got to batts up front not that it matters but the two batteries in front wont be upgraded just m normal batterys. Will it affect anything goin from alt to front and alt to back rather then alt to front battery from front battery to back batteries? If you could follow that lol.
