Yep you got it. I just measured it out and made it where I had a consistent 8" through the curve.

Hopefully it comes out good. I think to get it to its full potential he is gonna need more batteries and 2 more amps, but it should still be damn loud once I get it running. As soon as the subs get dropped in I will get TL numbers and a video.

It has been a LOOOOONNGGGG day but I got alot done. Finished up the box for 4 XL 18s, got paid for it, and installed it in the van. Just waiting to get money to order the subs and it will be running. After I got it done, I got started on my box for my 2 Level 5s. On to the pics I will post the box specs for it after the pics.

Thanks alot!!! Hopefully word will spread around here and I can get a little work on the side building boxes. There just isnt a shop around here that does quality box work, all of them can do the basic small setups with 1-2 10 or 12s. No one is really doing big setups or has the know how to design and build a box.

what amp(s) are goin on the 4 XL 18s?

He has 2 Soundstream 3400s. they are rated for 3500 at .5 ohm, so I will be wiring the subs as low as possible to help with rise. The box should be fairly efficient with the power the amps will put out. I recommended the XLs over the 4s so that if/when he gets used to the bass and wants more, he can just add 2 more amps and a few more batteries and not have to buy new subs and build a new box.
